Welcome! Pull up a chair by the hearth.

Schouten House is located in the Historic township of Swansea, on Tasmania's East Coast. An hour and a half drive from both Launceston and Hobart, we're halfway between Boags and Cascade, although if you enjoy the various liquids of life, you can find many boutique breweries, distilleries and wineries.

The A3 highway runs through Swansea and when you get to town, you are looking to turn towards the bay on Wellington St (which runs past the May Shaw Health Centre).

Once on Wellington St, just look for the big yellow Georgian house pictured above. Turn left at the intersection in front of the house, and the guest carpark is just on the other side of the hedge to the left of the house.

It can take a little time for us to get from the brewery to the front door, so please ring the doorbell and amuse yourself reading the sign about the height of the doorways inside the house (Jodie often jokes that she should turn it around so I read it more often).
